1. Who we are
This Privacy Notice explains how Slavica Radojicic ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares personal data when you visit our site, create an account, or purchase our ebook. We are the data controller responsible for your personal data in connection with the Service.
2. Personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, login credentials.
- Purchase & entitlement data: order identifiers, product purchased, purchase status, refund status. Card and billing details are collected directly by Paddle, not by us.
- Support correspondence: messages you send us and our replies.
- Usage & device data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, pages viewed, and similar telemetry collected automatically when you use the Service.
3. How we use your data and legal bases
- Provide the Service (account creation, ebook delivery, library access) — performance of a contract.
- Process orders and entitlements via our payment provider — performance of a contract.
- Security and fraud prevention — legitimate interests in keeping the Service safe.
- Customer support — performance of a contract / legitimate interests.
- Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interests, or consent where required.
- Legal compliance (tax, accounting, responding to lawful requests) — legal obligation.
- Marketing — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
4. Who we share data with
- Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment, manages billing and subscriptions, calculates and remits sales tax/VAT, issues invoices, and handles refund requests. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
- Service providers / subprocessors we rely on for hosting, database storage, authentication, email delivery, and analytics. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate confidentiality and security obligations.
- Professional advisers such as legal and accounting professionals where necessary.
- Authorities where required by law or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal data.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries outside your country of residence, including outside the UK/EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions) to protect your data.
6. Data retention
We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes set out above — typically for the life of your account plus a reasonable period afterwards for legal, accounting, and dispute-handling purposes. Purchase records may be retained longer where tax or accounting law requires. After that, data is deleted or anonymised.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent at any time; and to lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details in the Contact section. We aim to respond within one month.
8. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege practices — to protect your personal data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep risk to a minimum.
9. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the Service to work (for example, to keep you signed in). Where we use analytics or marketing cookies, we ask for your consent first and you can change your choice at any time through your browser settings.
10. Changes to this Notice
We may update this Notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
